Invisible Zinc

INVISIBLE ZINC: Unlike most other sunscreens, Invisible Zinc uses 100% micro-fine Zinc Oxide as its only blocking agent.  Zinc Oxide has a long history of safe use in skin care products and is currently a key ingredient in many baby creams, calamine lotions and skin salves. Although micro-fine Zinc Oxide is invisible to the naked eye, it still provides outstanding broad spectrum protection against UVA and UVB Rays. Also, because it is invisible this means natural sun protection without skin whitening!

Many other broad spectrum sunscreens use chemical blocking agents such as Octyl Methoxycinnamate (OMC) or PABA. These chemical UV absorbers/blocking agents can be photosensitive ie they may break down after prolonged exposure to the sun. Research shows that they may even be absorbed back into the skin. Invisible Zinc does not break down in the sun! Other mineral blocking agents such as Titanium Dioxide often irritate sensitive skin.
