Naturally-foaming Quillaja Saponaria gently removes impurities and excess oils.
Skin-soothing Balm Mint cools and calms the skin.
Purifying Lavender Extract assists in the cleansing action.

Application of Product

Place a small amount of Special Cleansing Gel onto dampened hands. Rub hands together to produce a lather.
Apply to wet face and throat.
Work the lather, concerntrating on areas of congestion and oiliness.
Rinse thoroughly with tepid water.
Repeat for professional results.

I have extremely sensitive skin and am always a little scared to try new products. However, this cleanser is amazing! It removes makeup very effectively and I haven't had any reaction whatsoever. I have also struggled with acne for over 15 years and this product has helped to clear my skin. I would recommend for anyone who is looking for a new cleanser to at least give this product a go.

I have been using this product since it was recommended to me 6 years ago by a beautician. I have tried other cleansers e.g. Clarins, L'Occitane and Dr Lewins and none of these cleansed my skin as well and kept blemishes at bay like Special Cleansing Gel does.

Fantastic, love it so much

After using Clinique 6 months ago I was unsure about big name brands. I have always had great skin, that was until I used a Clinique cleanser. my skin reacted badly and nothing has been able to fix it for 6 months. I finally decided enough was enough and it was time to give Dermalogica a go. I've had this cleanser for 3 days and all blemished are gone and my skin is back to its healthy self. I highly recommend this.

Refreshing cleanser good for oilier skin

I've tried many different cleansers and keep on coming back to this one. It's good if you have oilier skin and it's also good for sensitive skin. You can use this both morning and night. Great product.

Great Product

I used the Special Cleansing Gel for years and found it very effective on my oily, combination skin. My skin always felt clean and refreshed after using it. However, as I approached my thirties and my skin changed and this cleanser became too drying, so I now use the Essential cleanser. But for younger, oily or combination skin I highly recommend this product.
