Eye Believe (30 ml)

Eye Believe is a daily wrinkle correcting eye treatment that rejuvenates and repairs the contours of the eyes by tackling two factors responsible for wrinkles, which are micro-contractions and dehydration. The active ingredients help inhibit skin micro-contractions, while hydrating ingredients keep the eye area supple. It also contains a de-pigmenting ingredient to combat dark circles.

Eye Believe contains 4.0% Synthetic Snake Venom (SYN®-AKE); Synthetic tri-peptide that mimics the effect of peptide found in the venom of the snake Temple Viper. The active part of the compound is Dipeptide Diaminobutyroyl Benzylamide Diacetate. This material is very effective against mimic wrinkles: by temporary immobilization of the facial contractions it smoothes out mimic wrinkles and skin becomes more natural, younger and relaxed. It also reduces wrinkle depth and size thus acting as an intensive anti-wrinkle agent.

Application of Product

Only a tiny amount of any eye gel is needed to cover the area. Using your index finger dot the eye gel along the edge of the bone surrounding the eye. Gently pat (do not rub) the gel into the skin, staying around the edge of the bone. Do not get closer.

Eye Believe ... perhaps not

Whilst I'm seeing results from the other products I purchased in the Skinstitut range, the eye cream (Eye Believe) is pretty much not working given is non-useable.

I experience a slight stinging on application (which could be my skin in particular) but the side effect I'm least liking is the flaking white residue that is left behind when it dries. It not only looks unpleasant but it feels unpleasant.

Which is all a shame given I was really hoping that that synthetic snake vemon was going to be the magical potion my eyes needed.

Basically, I would not recommend this product.

3.	Not that great - Eye believe 22/06/2010 8:16 PM I had very high expectations for this Eye Believe. Its ok but thats about it. It doesn't absorb well and if I put makeup on top it goes all flakey. Also way to much comes out of the pump, way more than you need. - Angela, LITHGOW New South Wales

I tried this after hearing a friend rave about it. Unfortunately, I am not that impressed with it. The lotion just "sits" there without really absorbing into the eye area. It also has a very funny smell (which I can't place) and makes my skin feel rather "tight". I think I will stick with ASAP products (the best there is!) I hate wastage so I may use this as a lip moisturiser at night!

Eye Believe appears to deliver my expectations. The dispenser however sometimes gets a little stuck and if you push down too hard, then too much of the product is on your fingers. Eye Believe may be unfragranced, but it does have its own unique, although not totally deterrent scent.
