Skinstitut's Moisture Defence - Oily Skin is a lightweight, low oil, non pore clogging moisturiser designed to hydrate, smooth and reduce wrinkles on the skin. Containing 1.5% Synethetic Snake Venom (SYN®-AKE), a Synthetic Tripeptide that mimics the effect of peptide found in the venom of the snake Temple Viper. This material is very effective against mimic wrinkles by temporary immobilization of the facial contractions to smooth out mimic wrinkles so skin becomes more natural, younger and relaxed.

1.5% Synthetic Snake Venom (SYN®-AKE), Synthetic Tripeptide that mimics the effect of peptide found in the venom of the snake Temple Viper
Kakadu Plum extract - contains up to 4% ascorbic acid making it world’s richest source of Vitamin C that is very stable
Vitamin E - antioxidant, protecting skin from free radical damage thus preventing premature ageing
Trealix - excellent moisturising ability, stabilises cell proteins, revitalises cells
Transcutol P - good solubiliser and penetrating agent and carrier for AHA
Rainforest harvest - rich in different fruit acids (AHA) thus helping with mild exfoliation, reduction of sebum from the skin and minimizing pore openings
Sebaryl - act as regulators of sebaceous glands secretion and excretion; anti-inflammatory; astringent and matifying agent
Olive Leaf extract - anti-ageing, anti-microbial , anti-inflammatory activity, free radical scavenging properties, photo protective activity
Linked Papain - proteolitic enzyme that "softens” and digests protein components of intercellular matrix (collagen), thus acting as very mild exfoliating agent
Pistachio Nut Oil - penetrating ability, dry after feel, spreads quickly leaving smooth skin surface

Application of Product

Use as required, ideally every night as a final step in your skincare regiment
Dab the moisturiser around the fragile skin of your eyes, moving inward and upward
Next apply facial moisturiser by starting at the base of the neck and rub cream up to the edge of your jaw-line. From the centre of your chin move your fingertips up and out, always working the wrinkles in the opposite direction
Finally from the centre of your forehead, work moisturiser out and up towards your hairline

I used this product with glycolic cleanser whilst on i/v antibiotics, and after treatment. when every other part of my body was falling apart, this cream kept my skin mouisturized and clear. in fact nurses in hospital commented on how good my face skin looked! i think its good value for the price.
