Skinstitut's Retinol promotes cell renewal in the skin by increasing collagen and elastin production, which contribute to younger, healthier skin. Retinol skincare products diminish visibility of fine lines and wrinkles, lead to a smoother overall appearance of facial contours and more evenly-completed skin tone.
Whilst Retinol is one of the most important anti-wrinkle ingredients in the cosmetic industry, its use is nevertheless, challenging. It is sensitive to light, oxygen and heat, resulting in significant loss of efficacy. Skinstitut's encapsulated Retinol (Poly Pore 120RE) overcomes this challenge. With micro-encapsulation technology, Skinstitut offer a solution that protects sensitive Retinol-based ingredients from external influences such as UV light and oxygen by enclosing them in shells made from natural biopolymers. The active substances are released gradually and thus remain active for a long period of time. The microcapsules deliver the ingredients directly to the point of action in the skin. Only when the shells are cracked by the skin’s natural enzymes is the active substance released.

- Encapsulated Retinol, trade name: Poly Pore 120RE
- 1.5% Synthetic Snake Venom (SYN®-AKE), synthetic tripeptide that mimics the effect of peptide found in the venom of the snake Temple Viper
- Purisoft - protects skin cells against aggression by pollutant; purification of the skin by removing of all micro-particles coming from the environment
- Biophytex - anti-irritant; anti-inflammatory and anti-edemal (reduction of swelling of under eye zones on the face); soothes reactivity of sensitive skin; improves problems linked to capillary fragility; reinforces capillary walls and minimises anti-couperose
- Canadian Willowherb - natural skin calming agent; anti-irritant; free radical absorbing ability; anti-microbial activity
- Softolive - good lubrication against dry skin feel; helps relieve skin roughness and dryness and restores its suppleness and flexibility
- Vitamin E - antioxidant, protecting skin from free radical damage
- Trealix - excellent moisturising ability, stabilises cell proteins, revitalises cells
- Transcutol P - good solubiliser and penetrating agent and carrier for AHA
- Pistachio Nut Oil - good penetrating ability, dry after feel, spreads quickly leaving smooth skin surface

Application of Product
- Apply every evening on clean, dry skin
- Gentle stroke outwardly in circular motion, slowly spreading onto the entire face, throat, chest and back of hands
Results: Daily use over a month is required to achieve visible results. More dramatic results will be noticeable after several months.
