What the heck is an IRIS?!?
The IRIS. What is it, what does it do and why does it look like that?
Here we are prepared to answer all of your burning questions about this funky looking FOREO device.
WHY DO WE NEED IT?
The eye contour has delicate paper thin skin that is up to 5 times thinner than facial skin. This area is very prone to signs of stress, lack of sleep as well as natural aging, causing fine lines, eye bags, and dark circles. Therefore, this sensitive area needs special care in order to maintain a fresh appearance. The IRIS device not only depuffs morning eyes but encourages blood flow and better absorption of serums and/or eye creams to that delicate area. Not to mention its gentle silicone is not only smooth to the touch, but ultra-hygienic and easy to clean, preventing bacteria build up.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The IRIS is uniquely inspired by finger tapping eye massages along with alternating T-Sonic technology; it is far more effective than manually massaging the eye contour. There are two modes on this lovely device that can be activated by hitting the universal button.
Pure mode replicates the feeling of a manual massage and is very gentle, yet more effective than just using the fingertips alone.
Spa Mode recreates a professional beauty treatment by combining tapping with delicate pulsations, allowing the skin to gently loosen and hit massaging tension points around the eye whilst effectively improving blood flow.
The shape of the device allows you to hit all aspects of the eye including the inner eye pocket. There are 8 intensities of the finger tapping motion which you can increase or decrease with the + and - buttons on the device. With 140 uses per charge, this lightweight device is long lasting and 100% waterproof which makes it your perfect travel buddy.
HOW TO USE?
Simply pop on your favorite eye cream (we recommend anything vitamin c or caffeinated based for that extra oomph!), turn your device on and let the IRIS go to town. This device can be used morning and night in conjunction with your skincare routine.
